Web Standards
Simply put, web standards are a group of protocols and guidelines put in place to make the web more compatible, more accessible, and generally a better place. These standards enable many different users around the world to view content how it was intended to be viewed. Because web browsers are not all created equally, having standards allows everyone to successfully consume web content.
Why do we use web standards?
At TransEffect we believe in the future of the web and where it is going. Old, outdated methods of web content creation are still allowed by most of today's current browsers but there is no guarantee that in the future they will be. This could cause problems and undesired effects (visually and regarding content) on the majority of web sites that have not planned in accordance with proper web standards. We strive to give the customer the best product possible visually and behind the scenes which is why we design our products in accordance with strict web standards.
